The Stronger Together Festival was a landmark community event held in Fitzroy Crossing to celebrate recovery, resilience, and unity following the 2023 Fitzroy Valley floods. Commissioned by the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley, GRAF X Creatives developed a cohesive visual identity that extended across the festival’s promotional poster and the official event program.

The design drew inspiration from the colours and textures of the Kimberley landscape, blending deep ochres and sunset gradients with dynamic type and layered imagery to reflect cultural connection and renewal. The program was carefully structured to highlight the festival’s art exhibitions, performances, and storytelling elements — including local artists, dancers, and headliners like Baker Boy and Mitch Tambo — celebrating the power of collaboration between community, local organisations, and government.

Travelling to Fitzroy Crossing for the event, I provided on-the-ground design context and community engagement to ensure the visuals truly represented the spirit of the Valley. The final creative suite delivered a vibrant, unified aesthetic that honoured local culture while amplifying the event’s message of strength and togetherness.
